When merging is the answer

A portal that only accepts one file per upload slot (visa applications, court e-filings). A scanned passport that needs to sit next to a bank statement in one evidence PDF. Chapters consolidated into a textbook. A contract stapled to its addenda before sending.

Because the work happens on your device, merging a stack of 20 MB scans takes seconds — no round-trip, no server queue.

Lossless by design

Merge preserves each file exactly as it was. Text stays selectable, images stay at their original resolution, and the page order follows what you set in the drag-to-reorder list. What comes out is the sum of what went in — nothing added, nothing degraded.

Questions people ask.

Does merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Merging is lossless — the tool glues the files together page-for-page. Text stays text, images stay images, and resolution is unchanged.
Can I reorder the files before merging?
Yes. After dropping your files, drag the grip handle on each row to reorder. The merged PDF follows the order you set.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
As many as your device's memory can hold — usually 20+ files of typical size. If you hit a performance wall, merge in batches.
Will merging break my digital signatures?
Cryptographic PDF signatures are invalidated by any edit, including merging — that's how the PDF spec works, not specific to this tool. Visual signature images pass through fine.
Do my files get uploaded?
No. The whole pipeline runs via WebAssembly inside your browser. Drop files in, download the combined PDF — none of it travels over the network.
