Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

The short version

Your files never leave your device. Every PDF operation runs inside your browser via WebAssembly. We do not upload, store, access, or transmit your files.

What we collect

We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly tool that does not set cookies or fingerprint users. It records:

  • Page views (aggregated, no personal identifiers)
  • Referrer information
  • Browser and device type (aggregated)
  • Custom events: which tool was used, success or failure, compression ratio achieved (never file content)

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cookie-based tracker.

How your files are handled

  • Every PDF operation runs locally in your browser.
  • No file data is transmitted over the network.
  • Files are loaded into browser memory, processed, and made available for download right there in your tab.
  • Closing the tab erases the file from memory.

You can verify this yourself. Open your browser's developer tools (Network tab) while using any tool — you'll see no requests containing file data.

Third-party services

  • Plausible Analytics — privacy-focused analytics, no cookies, GDPR compliant by design.
  • Cloudflare — CDN and hosting. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP, user agent) as part of delivering the site.

Cookies and consent

The site does not set tracking cookies. If we ever enable display ads (we don't at launch), you'll see a clear consent banner first, and you can decline it while still using every tool.

Your rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to delete or export. Questions about privacy? Email hello@tenxpdf.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the tools evolve. Material changes will be noted here with a new date at the top.
