Free · No signup · Nothing uploaded · Works offline

Four tools. Each one does one job well.

No bloat, no account, no upload wait. Free to use as often as you like.

Built for the deadlines you can't miss.

A USCIS portal at 2 AM with a 6 MB per-file limit. A court ECF cap of 25 MB. An inbox that bounces anything over 25 MB. This is the tool for jobs where the size matters as much as the content.

Hits the exact size

Tell us the limit — 200 KB for a visa upload, 25 MB for Gmail, 4 MB for IRCC — and our precision engine dials in on that exact size. If it can't be hit without wrecking the file, we tell you.

Seconds, not minutes

No upload round-trip, no server queue. A 30 MB PDF is already on your device, so compression starts instantly and finishes in seconds on any modern laptop.

Stays on your device

Everything runs in your browser via WebAssembly. Passports, bank statements, court filings — nothing gets sent to a server. Open the Network tab while you work and verify it yourself.

Works everywhere

Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Desktop, tablet, phone. No install, no account, no payment. Works offline once it's loaded, too.

How it compares.

Smallpdf, iLovePDF, Adobe, PDF24 — each does something well. These are the choices we made differently.

Pre-tuned for the portals people keep hitting.

Visa portals, immigration forms, court filings, job applications — exact file-size limits are baked in, so you don't have to hunt through a government PDF to find them.

Questions people ask first.

Short answers, straight answers.

Can I hit a specific file size?
Yes — that's the main point. Tell the tool the size you need (say, 200 KB for a government portal or 4 MB for IRCC) and our engine locks onto that exact target. If it can't be hit without making the text unreadable, we tell you the smallest size we can reach and stop there.
What if my target size is impossible?
Some PDFs can't compress to a given size without destroying readability — a 50-page scanned document at 100 KB, for example. Instead of pretending, the tool shows the smallest achievable size and suggests alternatives: grayscale mode, splitting into parts, or removing unnecessary pages.
How is this different from Smallpdf or iLovePDF?
We focus on exact-size targets instead of generic low/medium/high presets, and the whole pipeline runs in your browser so there's no upload or download wait. Whether that's 'better' depends on your job — those tools have broader features; we go deeper on compression and privacy-sensitive workflows.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Free. No signup, no trial timer, no feature locked behind a paywall. We may add modest ads one day to cover hosting, but the core tools stay free and your files always stay on your device.
Do my files actually stay on my device?
Yes. Every operation runs via WebAssembly inside your browser. You can verify it yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and drop a PDF — you'll see no upload of your file data.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — desktop, tablet, or phone. On older phones very large files take longer because compression uses your device's CPU, but it works.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded the first time. The compression engine is cached on your device and the tools keep working without internet.
